In 2008, there were about 650 people in attendance. This year, we’re expecting over 800 Business leaders, business owners, community leaders, vendors, military personnel, and general public. Exhibitors will include 40‐50 representing sustainable business, environment, community, and economy, living, and military, such as: renewable energy, alternative transportation, green building, eco‐friendly products and services, energy and water conservation products & services, office efficiency products, green government & military efforts, local agriculture, eco‐furniture, eco‐fashion, and more.

The DoubleTree Hotel will highlight local, organic food, lower on the food chain, and the evening reception will highlight a local brewer. No disposable materials will be used to serve food. The hotel has also established a green team, and is making this conference their first “green” event.

Workshops, sessions, and presentations will include a “State of the Region”, workshops in solar/photovoltaic, green building techniques, Sustainability 101, local food and agriculture, recycling, greening your business, water conservation demonstration, alternative transportation, and much more.

An evening reception will take place on Nov. 3rd with a keynote speaker and entertainment. Additional keynote speakers will be on the agenda for Nov. 4th. Sustainable Community Awards will be presented by local leaders during the conference.
