The Southern Colorado
Sustainable Communities (SCSC) Technologies
Conference and Expo is being held at the
Pueblo Convention Center, in the heart of
downtown Pueblo at 320 Central Main Street, one
block west of Interstate 25 at the First Street exit
(98B). A block of rooms has been reserved with the
name Southern Colorado Sustainability Conference at the
adjoining Pueblo Marriott for $99 (non-government
rate). There is a 24 hour notice for cancellation
and you can make your reservations by calling (719)
542-3200.
Traveling to Pueblo
by motor vehicle is a snap, located 100 miles south
of Denver at the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and
Interstate 25. There is plenty of convenient
parking at the Pueblo Convention Center for
automobiles, buses and trucks.
The Colorado Springs Airport, which is only a
40-minute drive from Pueblo, has numerous flights to
and from destination throughout the country. In
addition, access to regional flights is available at
the Pueblo Memorial Airport.
Once you're here, you'll find most of Pueblo's major
attractions within walking distance, including the
Pueblo Street Gallery, and you'll experience
Pueblo's appreciation and dedication to culture and
